Harry Bought The Cutest Gift From The Sentebale Polo For His Son ArchieMay 27, 2019
Last week, the Duke of Sussex spent a few nights away from his son Archie. As a first time dad to a three-week-old baby, it must have been a difficult decision for him to travel away from his son and wife. It’s clear though that the Duke was thinking of his family while he was away from them. The Polo game is for a good cause and raises money for young people affected by HIV in Lesotho and Botswana.
On Thursday, Harry flew to Rome for the Sentebale Polo Cup held on Friday afternoon, although it was technically a royal duty, Harry still found time to get the cutest present for Baby Sussex.
You probably didn’t ever think you’d ever feel broody over the sight of a teeny, tiny, personalized polo mallet, but here you are.
Harry was presented with the gift by friends at the polo club, a mini replica of his own mallet, with the British flag colour in red, white and blue, finished with the name “Archie” written across the front. Hello! says that the adorable gift was shared on Instagram stories by Brand Machine Group, who wore: “Matchday! Featuring an exclusive polo mallet for the royal baby!”
It might not be top of the gift list for a lot of new parents, but for a royal child who has an avid polo player for a father, it’s perfect.
This year Sentebale polo match compared with the 2018 celebrations perfectly shows just how much the Duke’s life has changed in the last year. In the last 12 months carry was having a romantic moment with his now wife Meghan, while this year he’s collecting personalized baby presents while wearing a linen suit.
