How Meghan ‘Modernized’ The Royal FamilyApril 11, 2019
The Duchess of Sussex received praise for the way she has “bucked the trend” since joining the Royal Family. Meghan McCain praised Meghan on ABC’s The View for the way she has “modernized” the Royal Family.
She said: “I love that she is doing everything different. I love the tabloids are so brutal to her and she just keeps on doing what she is doing. I think that she represents America really well.I love that she is bucking so many trends.
I personally find it, not that inspiring or not that relatable when I see a beautiful picture after someone has just given birth, which Princess Kate has done – she just walks out. I know that it is tradition and I understand but I think there is a reason lots of people find her very refreshing in the Royal Family because she is bucking trends and modernizing the Royal Family.”
Meghan is just weeks away from giving birth to her first child. She, along with Harry, announced they would be welcoming their first child back in October. Kensington Palace revealed in a statement that the baby was expected to be due in the spring.
The statement said: “Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”
The Sussex couple officially moved into Frogmore Cottage in Windsor last week, after it getting renovated.
They announced they’re moving out of Kensington Palace in November to move away from William and Kate.
