How The Royal Family Celebrated The Queen’s BirthdayApril 23, 2019
The royal family stepped out to attend a Sunday Service at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. But this year it also coincided with another important day, the Queen’s birthday. Basically everyone attended the birthday party, except Meghan who is due to give birth any day now.
Earlier in the day both Kensington Royal and Sussex Royal Instagram accounts wished the Queen a happy birthday with Kensington Royal writing: “Wishing a very happy 93rd birthday to Her Majesty The Queen!”
While Sussex Royal posted several pictures writing: “Happy Birthday Your Majesty, Ma’am, Granny. Wishing you the most wonderful day! 🎈 Harry & Meghan.”
And just when we thought the rumors about the Kate and Meghan’s “rift” had finally died out, there’s a new one which seems to be going around.
William and Harry didn’t speak a word to each other on their way in or out of the service, Harry choosing to arrive with his cousin Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn instead, according to People.
Fans quickly noticed the division between the brothers, in midst of reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan to move to Africa after the birth of their baby. Rumors last year that the relation between the brothers was strained came out when Harry felt William wasn’t doing enough to welcome Meghan into the family.
A fan told ET there was an “obvious distance between the two” on that day. Body language expert Judi James told Fabulous Online that Harry seemed “desperate to avoid” William.
“Harry, Kate and William had always been so well bonded but suddenly it was Harry looking serious and using body language cues to hint at some heightened levels of anxiety when he was with them.”
