The Queen Is At Windsor Waiting For The Birth Of The Baby SussexMay 3, 2019
The Queen has pointed at the arrival of the Baby Sussex as she is just a 10-minute drive away from Frogmore Cottage, Harry and Meghan’s home in Windsor. Today Queen Elizabeth II will be at a service of the Royal Victorian Order at St George’s Chapel, on the Windsor Castle grounds.
She will then move from the chapel where Harry and Meghan exchanged their wedding vows, where she will give a reception for those attending the service. She will be accompanied by the Duke of Kent, Prince Edward.
Her diary also suggests she will stay in the royal borough of Windsor until May 7, when she will give a luncheon for the members of the Order of Merit at her castle.
These events signal the monarch’s desire to be close to Harry and Meghan, whose official due date hasn’t been revealed by Kensington Palace.
In a statement made in April, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said: “Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”
Royal fans are desperate for news about the Sussex baby, many taking out their frustration on social media.
One person wrote: “I am desperate for news on the #RoyalBaby it’s driving me nuts!”
Another one said: “I’m so impatient & excited, where is this Royal Baby Sussex @RoyalFamily, is there any news from Harry & Meghan’s camp, anything at all??? #TheWaitGoesOn.”
A Twitter user simply asked: “Dear Meghan, where is Baby Sussex?”
But some royal fans seem to be able to cope better with the lack of news and maintain their high spirit.
One person said: “Wonder if Meghan and Harry will have Royal Baby or Babies today. Either way, wishing them both that all goes well.”
